Volunteers

The success of the Delta Dog Safe™ Program in Tasmania is largely due to our dedicated team of volunteers. Volunteers are trained and accredited by Delta Society Australia.

To become a volunteer you must:

1. Attend a one day seminar
2. Visit a school with an experienced volunteer
3. Agree to have a police check – Free of charge
4. Commit to doing at least one presentation every 2 months – you will only be expected to do presentations in your local area.
5. Enjoy working with children
6. Have an interest in dog safety
